Hi! I’m Allison of Bake My Day in Southampton, New York. I live in this lovely town by the beach with my husband and two incredible kids after moving from New York City years ago.
 
I was lucky enough to grow up in a Scandinavian family where the aroma of homemade cookies, cakes and treats was always nearby. My love of baking sprang from watching my grandmother and mom in the kitchen and was nurtured through being encouraged by them to give it a try.
 
Once I had my own kids I began to put those baking skills acquired through the years to the test. Come birthday party time I loved getting creative and conjuring up a cake, cookie or confection that would truly make them gasp! As a mom, there can be no better endorsement than a child leaping with excitement!
 
Over the years friends and family began asking me to bake for their special days and for me, it is the greatest honor. I love how happy my cakes and goodies make people and it really is a dream come true to become a part of a family’s celebration, whatever the occasion may be.
 
As I learned from spending those happy hours with my grandmother and mom all those years ago, baking is mostly about bringing people together. Everything I bake is made with love, from my family to yours.
